5-11-22: Lead Outs

There are times when you can’t guide your dog successfully from the startline without leading out. The 2021 Cynosport Steeplechase Finals offer a fine case in point. 5-4-22: Run with Your Dog from the Startline

Barbara and Rorie 4pm These two “no lead-out” exercises force you to problem-solve as if you were mid-course. One’s a serpentine exercise; the other presents a weave–double-jump challenge.

4-27-22: Keep Moving

Stay on your toes with correct crosses for a tunnels-only exercise. A continuous loop of jumps will let you practice front and blind crosses to see which works best to keep you and your dog moving fast and smoothly. Sally and Tiger Barbara and Rorie
