4-19-23 Tunnel & Jump Discriminations
Tunnels are inviting. Be careful where you aim your dog and practice staying ahead of him so you can direct him. Picking him up out of each tunnel is just as important to keep the flow going. People who have signed up:Playtime: Setup: Start: Later:
11-5-2022: Fun with Tunnels
Side-by-side tunnels both block your path and invite your dog to accelerate. Choose your path carefully, and be ready to run. If you can call your dog back through the far end of a tunnel, you’ll be ahead of the game. Please remember to print and bring the layout and maps to practice.
11-2-22: Weaves with Double and Triple
These are fast-paced sequences. Your dog will pick up speed over three jumps (U-turn into the weaves) and out of a curved tunnel (straight on into the weaves). The double and triple will impact where your dog lands, so notice, learn, and adjust accordingly. Please remember to print and bring the layout and maps to practice.
10-26-22: CPE Snooker
This course offers the options of three or four reds. Same rules as with USDAA except you stop time on the table. Try several strategies. Please remember to print and bring the layout and maps to practice.
